Thomas Martin Sheehy

Thomas Martin Sheehy is a natural health practitioner specializing in diet, nutrition and lifestyle education. He offers private health consultations and group-based workshops aimed at demystifying human anatomy and physiology, and explaining complex biochemistry in an accessible and interactive manner.

Subscribing to the notion of doctor as educator, Thomas believes that complementary healthcare and clinical medical practice are mutually symbiotic rather than separate or ‘alternative’ entities. By balancing the best of orthodox medical science with historically validated healing techniques, he was able to overcome severe and prolonged childhood ailments including rheumatoid arthritis and psychologically rooted eating disorders.

Thomas prides himself on the study of accurate health science and the application of evidence-based practices that encourage health by offsetting the harmful effects of life in the 21st century. By showcasing historically validated healing techniques in conjunction with modern advances in diet, nutrition and lifestyle practices, Thomas equips each individual with the knowledge to make informed choices regarding their personal health and wellbeing.
